Earth Day Activities with SIGA

Chris Watson, science student at SCC, has worked very hard coordinating with SIGA (Spartanburg Intercollegiate Green Alliance) on a series of Earth Day events this week being carried out on the various Spartanburg school campuses. The SCC science club is cosponsoring these events here on our campus. The events are as follows:
Wednesday April 23rd @ 7 pm
Spartanburg Sustainable Community Forum: ”Organic vs. Processed and what it means to you”
Located in the SCC auditorium, LRC Building
Thursday April 24th @ 4 pm
SCC Campus Green Forum Sponsored by the SCC Science Club
Located in the Commissioners Dining Room, SSB
Dr. Sawicki will be giving a brief Presentation entitled “Growth and Sustainability: an Ecological Perspective”
Friday April 25th @4pm
Earth Day Spartanburg Community-wide Forum, sponsored by SIGA.
Located in the Hub-Bub showroom. Both local community and college leaders will be present to discuss what Spartanburg is doing to help with environmental issues
