Sessions will review the early learning standards for 3, 4, and 5-year olds. Participants will be able to define the assessment process, and list five strategies for recording children’s learning in school that supports the learning structure.

Growth and Development - Physical Development and Health
Participants will be able to identify developmental milestones for physical development from the early learning standards for 3, 4, and 5-year-olds. Gross motor development and fine motor development will be defined, and participants will review the physical developmental domains.
ABC Special Needs October 18, 2008 CSN-265, CSN-266
Special Needs for Children with Different Needs and Abilities Found in the Preschool Classroom
Participants will be able to identify indicators of delays in each developmental area for 3, 4, and 5-year olds. Facilitator will address the importance of making adaptations int he classroom to meet children’s individual needs.
