Our Authorized Testing and Assessment Center proctored 232 tests this month under the supervison of Kevin Fowler, testing administrator at the BMW Center at the Tyger River Campus.
What kinds of tests?
High Stakes tests such as Microsoft Certified Professionals, CISCO and CompTIA A+ exams were given. TheTesting Center is certified to proctor exams from the following vendors with high-security procedures and video recording of each workstation.
- 19 exams Prometric (Microsoft Certified Professionals)
- 7 exams Thompson/VUE (CompTIA A+, CISCO)
- 4 exams ACT (ASE, Constable, Social Workers)
- 3 exams Certiport (Microsoft Office Specialist)

Smart Jobs tested 6 applicants for job training: basic skills in reading, finding information and math.
A dozen job applicants took the Wonderlic ERI, which gives interviewers insights into applicants’ values and offers suggested interview questions.
Bennett-Mechanical and Applied Mathematics tests, which score ability to understand mechanical processes and do math appropriate for industrial applications were given to 89 candidates off-site.
