Honors for Marketing and PR

The Marketing/PR staff of Spartanburg Community College was invited to present at the 2008 annual conference of the National Council of Marketing and Public Relations in Savannah, Georgia to 500 attendees on crisis communications. Staff members recently received awards from Media Women of South Carolina for professional excellence in marketing and communications.

Tiffany Hughes

- Third Place – Four-color brochure – Corporate & Community Education Image brochure
- Honorable Mention - Four-color brochure – Best Start program brochure
First place awards will be forwarded to the national competition with the National Federation of Press Women in September in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Kelley Jones will graduate from Leadership Spartanburg in May.
Cheri Anderson-Hucks was recently named the 2007-2008 Service To Mankind Award recipient by the Uptown Sertoma Club for outstanding volunteer service to the Spartanburg community.
Tiffany Hughes graduated from Leadership South Carolina in April.
