Job seekers can apply to more than 170 available positions at a job fair Thursday, August 2, at the SC State Government Army National Guard building at 410 Hampshire Drive in Gaffney. The job fair is sponsored by SC Works Cherokee and the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce.
Verterans will be admitted from 9 to 10 a.m. General admission is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.. Most positions are in manufacturing but there are also jobs in retail, food services and other areas. Read more at goupstate.com.
