Join us for the Digital Photography Basic class starting Monday, June 6 from 6 pm to 9 pm. The class is a “hands-on” experience. You will learn color blance, exposure control and determine what settings to use to take good pictures. You may take your cameras, laptops and other equipment to class.
The class is taught by one of our “top-notch” instructors, Alex Hicks. Having enjoyed taking pictures from an early age, Alex pursued his passion and graduated from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Journalism in upstate New York. For over twenty years Alex served as a photojournalist for the Navy traveling to the Far East and Middle East covering stories and recording events of history. Alex has also worked for newspapers in Florida and Illinois and currently is a staff photographer for the Spartanburg Herald Journal.
