treewranglingSCC is partnering with SCWorks Upstate to help meet an urgent need for tree wranglers.

A three week course and a chainsaw might be all you need to get a new career in tree wrangling. Course starts 10/10 and you can sign-up here: http://bit.ly/treewrangling

SC Representative Harold Mitchell tells 7 News that the Regenesis Community Development Corporation is looking to expand the number of homes on the South side of town at Forest Park. He also said utility companies are in need of people trained to cut down trees and safely remove them after storms.

Mitchell said he reached out to Spartanburg Community College and SC Works to find a way to train people to do this job, quickly. Check out the WSPA 7News report for more information!
